So much so that it can be overwhelming for a beginner golfer.

As beginner golf tips go, it’s pretty simple. Ready?
Chip like you putt.
In order to chip like you putt successfully, set the club with the heel off the ground.
This allows you to help reproduce your putting stance.
Take your normal putting grip which will help keep the front hand stable and minimize any wristiness in your chip shot.
Play the ball inside your front foot.
Keep your body still and with a pendulum motion from your shoulders (just like your putting) swing the club head up, bring your arms back and then swing down into the ball.
When it comes to your golf shot, simpler is better.
